Instructions to Grant Access to Rewatt

Solis PV systems report data to SolisCloud Monitoring. The monitoring platform features a formal, well-defined API that Rewatt uses to collect data. To onboard your Solis PV system, you’ll need two items: a Key ID and a Key Secret. These credentials are provided once you activate API access on SolisCloud Monitoring. Follow the steps below to request API access, activate it on SolisCloud Monitoring, and share your data with Rewatt.

Step 1: Request API Access

Check your SolisCloud Monitoring Website to see if you have API Access. If Not, Request API Access, following the steps outlined in the official Solis support article: API Access and Sharing

Note:
Please be aware that Solis might take a couple of days to process your request and enable API access.

Step 2: Activate API and Get Key ID

Log In: Once your API access request has been approved by Solis, log in to SolisCloud Monitoring Website
Navigate to API Management: Go to Basic Settings > API Management.
Activate API: Click Activate Now Button.

Your Key ID and Key Secret will be generated upon activation. You will need these for the next steps.

Step 3: Log into your Rewatt Account or start an application

Begin your Solar Credits Program Application or log into your Rewatt Power Account https://app.rewattpower.com
During the application process, you will be asked for the manufacturer of your metering device.
Select Solis.

Step 4 Paste API Credentials

Under the Key ID, paste your Key ID.
Under the Key Secret, paste your Key Secret .
Click TEST CONNECTION. If all is well, you will get a green success notification!
Continue your application.
