Instructions to Generate a Single Site API Key

SolarEdge inverters report data to SolarEdge’s monitoring platform. SolarEdge’s monitoring platform supports a formal, well-defined API that Rewatt uses to collect site data.

Site-specific API key: can only be used to access data for the site associated with the API key. A site specific API key is useful if the user wants to give Rewatt power access to one site or a small subset of sites.

Before You Start

Please have the following ready:

  • SolarEdge username and password

You must have one of two types of Admin access:

  • Site-Specific Admin: You must have Admin access to the specific site you want to onboard.

and/or

  • Account Admin: You have Account Admin access for your entire organization.
